Description

The turnip is a root vegetable with a purple and white globe-shaped root. The interior flesh is purely white. Turnips have a mild flavor similar to radish and cabbage. Turnip roots are high in vitamin C, and the leafy green parts are a good source of vitamin A, folate, vitamin C, vitamin K, and
calcium.

For Your Pet

Root vegetables, like turnips, have higher amounts sugar and should only be a small portion of your rabbit’s diet. It is safe for your small pet to eat both the turnip root and the leafy greens, but only as a
treat.
