Description

Lemongrass is a type of herb that grows as long, thin, sharp grassy bushes and smells like lemons. The base of the leaves resembles a scallion, but are much larger and tougher. Lemongrass grows up to six feet and grows ideally in tropical conditions. Lemongrass has culinary and medicinal
purposes and insect repellent properties (citronella oil). It is also used in pesticides, preservatives, and antifungal. You can find fresh lemongrass bundles at grocery stores.

For Your Pet

Bunnies enjoy chomping on lemongrass stalks, as they are tough and crunchy. Lemongrass is safe for your pet and can be enjoyed daily in limited supply.

Warning

Your small pets can have lemon grass each day, but only in small amounts and limited supply.
