Description

Walnuts are encapsulated by a fleshy green exterior that, inside, holds the hard shell and the waxy nut. When cracked open, you will see the edible nut meat which has either a light tan or brown coloring to it. The edible meat of the walnut weirdly resembles a brain when it’s whole, however most people chop or dice these to add to delicious dishes and desserts.

Walnuts are highly dangerous to your pet if ingested. Rabbits, chinchillas, guinea pigs, and other small pets should never eat walnuts to ensure they stay safe and healthy.
