Description
Straw comes from the dry stalks of cereal plants, after the grain and chaff have been removed. It makes up the majority of the crops barley, oats, rice, rye, and wheat.
For Your Pet
Straw should never be fed to your pet, but you can use it has a bedding for them. If they have a little nibble on it, it’s fine. They just can’t have it has food because it is so low in nutrients.
Warning
Because of its low nutrients, if your pet eats this it can get sick. Stick to it being their bedding to keep them warm and cozy rather than a food source.
