Description

Senna is a large genus of flowering plants in the legume family mostly found in tropical areas but are worldwide. The leaves of these plants are often opposite paired on the branch. This plant also has yellow flowers and and legume pod containing the senna beans.

All parts of senna plants including the beans are toxic to some animals including cats, dogs, cattle, rabbits, and more. Symptoms may include loss of appetite, unhealthy weight loss, heart failure, liver failure, and death.
