Description

Mock orange plants are shrubs that are native to northern and central America, Asia, and southeast Europe. The beautiful white flowers resemble, at first glance, flowers of a citrus tree and smell like flowers found on an orange tree. These plants are mainly grown for the aroma and the display of flowers that bloom in late spring.

For Your Pet

Mock oranges can make your rabbit, guinea pig, chinchilla, or other small animal quite ill. Symptoms may include severe gastrointestinal issues, appetite loss, and abdominal pain.

Do not feed your pet mock orange as it can cause illness.
