Description

Junipers are coniferous trees and shrubs of the cypress family. They vary is size with evergreen needles or scale-like leaves with most commonly blue berries. Juniper has been used as building material, spices, essential oils, ornamental pieces, and more.

Juniper plants have a high allergic potential as the pollen can cause irritation of the skin, mouth, and lungs. It also contains an oil called Thujone which can cause gastrointestinal issues and kidney problems, and it small animals like rabbits, this can be deadly.
