Description
Holly is an evergreen and is typically used as an ornamental plant for holidays like Christmas. A few types of holly have red berries and glossy green leaves that curl and have multiple sharp points, or slightly softer leaves and small white flowers.
For Your Pet
This plant is highly toxic to small pets as well as humans if the berries are ingested. Symptoms include diarrhea and severe abdominal pain, however wild rabbits and others tend to stay away from eating holly due to the sharp edges on the leaves.
Warning
Do not feed your pet Holly as it can cause serious illness and injury.
