For Your Pet

The sap of this plant is phototoxic. When in contact with the sap, it prevents the skin from being able to protect itself from the sun and UV rays which can lead to extreme skin inflammation, sensitivity, and discomfort. It is said to affect humans and animals. This can have very serious ramifications if your pet has ingested any part of this plant.
