Description

These flowers are not true lilies but do resemble them. Day lilies have long skinny stems that fork at the top to produce beautiful 6 petalled wide-open flowers. They can be found in a variety of colors like orange, yellow, purple, pink, white, and so on, and may have variable patterns on their petals.

For Your Pet

Day Lilies contain toxins that can harm your pet. If your rabbit eats a day lily, they may experience severe nausea and gastrointestinal pain, however most rabbits tend to stay away from day lilies if they have a well balanced diet.

Warning

Do not feed your pet day lilies as they may get sick if ingested.
